Cahilty Creek Kitchen & Taproom is looking for fun, outgoing and experienced candidates for this upcoming winter season.  By applying for the following positions, qualifying candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills, work well with others in our solid team environment and be willing to go above and beyond while under pressure.

Things are better slopeside; we ensure internal and external service to our customers as well as our team.  Potential year round employment opportunities may be offered.

  • Must be able to work in a fast pace environment that serves customers located in a ski in/out location. (opening hours are from 7am – 12am, 7 days a week)

1-3 year experienced Line cook: – FILLED

The successful applicant joining our team will be responsible for ensuring our catering events and meal periods are planned and prepared with efficient and professional service.  Other duties included but are not limited to; operations and preparations of breakfast, lunch, busy après or dinner service.

The candidate joining our strong team must:

  • be punctual and organized
  • work well with others and communicate in a professional manner at all times
  • demonstrate efficient food service
  • display attention to details
  • ensure kitchen is kept clean and set up for service
  • Follow food safe and health and safety regulations and guidelines
  • Be available for flexible hours based on business demands including morning, afternoon, evenings and weekends
  • Have problem solving skills and prove leadership skills to lead the hot line

4th person – Dishwasher

This hard-working applicant is responsible for cleanliness of the restaurant flatware’s and back kitchen areas.  Experience may be required to ensure high efficiency in a fast-paced environment.  May include light food prep duties.

  • Be a self starter and capable of working independently

Full time Breakfast server

As one of the few people our guests see first thing in the morning, you set the tone for their exciting day.  You will be responsible for opening the restaurant for breakfast service to our guests in a busy ski in/out hotel.

  • deliver warm and welcoming customer service
  • demonstrate efficient food and beverage service and delivery
  • ensure the restaurant is kept clean and set up for service

Full Time Bar/night server

This outgoing and dynamic candidate will be responsible for dinner and late-night bar and snack service.  You will also be responsible for closing the restaurant and ensuring it is cleaned nightly and set up and ready for breakfast service the next morning.

  • Be willing to learn and sell premium spirits, craft beers and wine
  • Assume responsibility for select inventory daily/weekly/monthly
  • Be punctual and presentable
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Deliver warm and welcoming customer service
  • Display efficient food and beverage service
  • Demonstrate leadership skills for closing shift and to ensure the restaurant is kept clean and set up for next day service
